The new study shows that the contrast in warming between the continents and sea, called the land-sea warming contrast, drives an increased concentration of aerosols in the atmosphere that cause air pollution.
The question of evolution in our eonic model is based on world history which give us direct access to the visible (if any) process of the evolutionary. The question arises, how can history be evolution? The answer is that evolution is really about the evolution of freedom: look at the rise of the animal: degrees of freedom emerge at each level: it is almost by definition true that from initial locomotion to incipient categories of choice we see a freedom effect. Don’t confuse that with free will, necessarily, a far more advanced question. Evolution creates ‘choice’, which is different. Continue reading Evolution to history: freedom evolving
We have cited the very important new evidence on mechanobiology as it casts doubt, from still another direction, on hard core darwinism.
But the question remains, beyond negative critiques of evolutionary theories, what direction might we look for a positive view? Conventional biology, including even the critics, hardly has a clue to the enigma of evolution. The reason is that it is focused on the substrate based on biochemistry. That’s the only zone science allows but it is not enough to resolve the evolution mystery which may well be so far an insoluble mystery. Continue reading Life, evolution and the clue of consciousness
